Shoulder Pain
Shoulder pain can make everyday activities such as reaching, lifting, working, exercising, dressing, or sleeping uncomfortable. Because the shoulder relies on coordinated movement between multiple joints and muscles, pain or restricted movement can develop for many different reasons.
Shoulder complaints may begin after an injury or repetitive activity, or they may gradually become noticeable over time.
Common Symptoms
- Aching or localized pain
- Pain with reaching or lifting
- Restricted or uncomfortable range of motion
- Muscle tightness or soreness
- Discomfort when lying on the affected side
- Pain that changes with movement or activity
If shoulder pain is limiting your work, exercise, sleep, or everyday activities, schedule an evaluation at Smithfield Chiropractic to determine what may be contributing to your symptoms and what treatment options may be appropriate.
