Knee Pain
Knee pain can make walking, climbing stairs, exercising, working, and other everyday activities uncomfortable. The knee is a weight-bearing joint that is exposed to repetitive stress during normal activity as well as greater forces during sports, exercise, and physical work.
Knee pain may develop following an injury or gradually as a result of repetitive activity, joint irritation, or age-related changes.
Common Symptoms
- Aching or localized pain
- Stiffness or restricted movement
- Pain with walking or climbing stairs
- Discomfort with bending or straightening the knee
- Pain during exercise or physical activity
- Swelling or tenderness around the knee
If knee pain is interfering with your mobility, work, exercise, or everyday activities, schedule an evaluation at Smithfield Chiropractic to determine what may be contributing to your symptoms and what treatment options may be appropriate.
