Hip Pain Smithfield, UT

Hip Pain

Hip pain can affect walking, sitting, exercising, sleeping, and many everyday activities. Because the hip plays an important role in supporting the body and allowing movement of the lower extremities, pain or restricted mobility can become particularly noticeable during weight-bearing activities.

Hip pain may develop after an injury or physical activity, or gradually from repetitive stress, muscle tension, joint irritation, or changes in mobility.

Common Symptoms

  • Aching or localized pain
  • Stiffness or restricted movement
  • Pain with walking or standing
  • Discomfort when getting up from a seated position
  • Pain with exercise or physical activity
  • Discomfort when lying on the affected side

If hip pain is limiting your movement, exercise, work, or everyday activities, schedule an evaluation at Smithfield Chiropractic to determine what may be contributing to your symptoms and what treatment options may be appropriate.
